A Typical Day at Camp Pinehurst
8:00 AM Breakfast
First Course- Juice, Milk, Dry Cereal, Oatmeal
Second Course- Fried, Poached or Scrambled Eggs with Toast or Muffins
or: Pancakes with Syrup
or: French Toast
8:45 AM Announcements and Flag Raising
9:15 AM Cabin clean up
9:30 AM 1st activity period
10:30 AM 2nd activity period
The director assigns campers a unique schedule each day. This ensures that campers will get the opportunity to participate in all of the activities at Pinehurst during their stay at camp. If a child wishes to specialize in a particular activity, they should let the director know so we can accommodate their wishes.
11:30 AM General Swim
Campers may either free swim with a buddy or participate in supervised activities on the tennis and basketball courts.
12:30 PM Lunch
Milk and Spring Water
First Course- Soup of the Day with Crackers
Second Course- Sandwiches such as: Grilled Cheese, Chicken Patty, Meatball, Steak Subs, Tuna, Westerns, Cold Cuts and even Pizza!
Side Dishes- Chips, Salads and Bread with Butter
Dessert- Fruits such as: Watermelon, Apples, Peaches, Plums or Fruit Cup
1:30- 2:30 PM Rest Period.
Campers may play quiet games, read or listen to music during rest period…not to mention write letters home!
2:30 PM 3rd activity period
3:30 PM 4th activity period
4:30 PM General Swim
5:45 PM Dinner
Spring Water
Main Course- Lasagna, Spaghetti, Pork Chops, Barbecued Chicken, Chicken Pot Pie, Chicken Parmesan, Turkey Dinner, Pot Roast, Salisbury Steak, Roast Beef
Side Dishes- Potatoes, Vegetables, Salads and Homemade Breads and Rolls!
Dessert- Cake, Pie, Cobbler, Cookies, Pastries or Ice Cream
6:15 PM Mail Call
6: 30 PM Evening Sign Ups
After dinner every night, campers get the free choice to participate in the activity of their choosing.
7:30 PM General Swim
9:00 PM Lights out for most campers
10:00 PM Lights out for senior cabins
